Maximum support when training and weights get more intense
The Versa Gripps Xtreme were developed for athletes who regularly train heavy and place the highest demands on grip, stability, and support. Especially in intense strength training, the limiting factor is often not the actual target muscle, but the strain on the hands, forearms, and wrists. This is exactly where the Versa Gripps Xtreme come in. They reduce pressure and support grip strength, so you can focus more on power transfer, control, and the target muscle.
The open design replaces traditional training gloves, lifting straps, or hooks while providing a direct feel on the bar without unnecessarily enclosing your hands. The wide hand pad protects against pressure points and calluses, while the anti-slip material ensures a secure hold during heavy pulling exercises. Thanks to the self-supporting construction, the Versa Gripps can be secured quickly and released just as quickly as soon as you open your grip.
The Xtreme Model
The Versa Gripps Xtreme are the most technically advanced model in the Versa Gripps series. They offer the highest level of support and are ideal for athletes looking for maximum support, high load capacity, and uncompromising performance in strength training.
The additional structural support comes from the patented VersaBridge construction and the patented X-design. The U-shaped VersaBridge architecture was developed to better distribute pressure on sensitive areas of the palm and reduce strain in the central area of the hand.
In addition, the patented X-design stabilizes the entire construction under load and ensures that the shape is maintained even during heavy lifts. This creates a particularly stable and controlled feel during pulling and pressing exercises.

Versa Gripps size guide
The right size for Versa Gripps is not determined by your hand size, but by the circumference of your wrist. To do this, measure the bony area of your wrist with a measuring tape. If you do not have one available, you can also use a string and then measure the length with a ruler.
Versa Gripps should not fit extremely tightly. They should sit comfortably on the wrist and still be easy to rotate. If you are between two sizes, the larger option is recommended.
| Wrist circumference | |
|---|---|
| Extra Small | 13-15 cm (5-6 in) |
| Small | 16-17 cm (6-7 in) |
| Regular / Large | 18-20 cm (7-8 in) |
| Extra Large | 20+ cm (8+ in) |
How to use Versa Gripps correctly
Each pair consists of a left and a right grip. Start with the right grip, which is marked accordingly directly under the wrist pad for easier orientation. Hold the grip so that the label faces you, and feed the wrist strap through the metal ring. Then either put your right hand through the loose loop or place your hand directly on the grip and then tighten the wrist strap over your wrist. Repeat the process with the left grip.
Your Versa Gripps should sit comfortably on your wrist and be able to rotate so that the curve of the palm piece is aligned along your thumb. Do not tighten the wrist strap too much.

For pulling exercises such as deadlifts, strict pull-ups, or rows, position the bar between your palm and the grip piece. Then use your fingers to pull the grip piece back over the bar into your palm. As soon as pressure builds up, the grip locks onto the bar and supports your grip strength during the movement. To release it, simply open your grip.
Versa Gripps can also be used for pressing exercises such as the bench press or overhead press. To do this, position them slightly higher toward the forearm and tighten the strap for additional stability. The palm support lies flat under the barbell and supports the palm during the movement.

Thanks to one-handed use, Versa Gripps work faster and more easily than classic lifting straps. At the same time, your hand stays open and ventilated, creating less heat and moisture than closed training gloves.

When hands and forearms need support
During heavy pulling exercises, the limiting factor is often not your back, shoulders, or arms, but your grip strength. This is due to small flexor muscles in the forearm, which are connected to the fingers via tendons through the wrist. These muscles are responsible for holding the barbell securely. As the training weight increases, however, they fatigue significantly faster than the large muscle groups you actually want to train.
This is exactly where Versa Gripps come in. By supporting you when gripping and holding the bar, they take some of the load off your hands, fingers, and forearms. This lets you focus more on the actual movement and the target muscles instead of constantly having to fight against fading grip strength.
In addition, the padded and ergonomic wrist construction supports stability during training without unnecessarily restricting mobility. The special shape ensures that the load is distributed more comfortably and relieves your hands during heavy reps.
This can help you perform sets in a more controlled way, better feel the connection to the target muscles, and reduce unnecessary early slipping or regripping on the bar.
