High-performance sports flooring with excellent shock and noise absorption
Our sports flooring provides a secure, non-slip surface for CrossFit training, weightlifting and many other activities. It reliably absorbs impacts, noise and vibrations, protecting not only your equipment and joints but also your relationship with your neighbors.
The high-quality rubber is designed for long-term use and is suitable for both professional gyms and demanding home gyms.
Optional: Connectors for sports flooring
Optional connectors are available for our sports flooring. They allow you to mechanically join multiple tiles for added stability, particularly in open training areas.
However, if the flooring covers the entire area up to all four walls, gluing or connecting the tiles is generally unnecessary. The weight of the tiles and the surrounding walls keep the flooring securely in place.
For professional use or heavily used training areas, the flooring can also be glued down for maximum adhesion. PU adhesives for rubber flooring, available at hardware stores, are suitable. Common product descriptions include 1K or 2K PU flooring adhesive or PU construction adhesive for rubber and rubber granulate flooring.
Alternatively, the connectors can be used if you want the tiles firmly joined while keeping the flooring removable or modular.
EPDM-based sports flooring: The ideal choice for a long-lasting gym floor
Our gym flooring is made with high-quality EPDM rubber and stands out for its exceptional durability, dimensional stability and resilience. Compared with conventional types of rubber, EPDM is particularly resistant to aging, low-odor and free from volatile plasticizers or harmful substances that could be released over time.
EPDM is considered one of the highest-quality materials for professional sports flooring and has proven itself for years in busy training environments. The flooring retains its properties even with intensive use, making it a reliable solution for gyms, CrossFit boxes and commercial training areas.
In addition, the sports flooring meets the European fire classification EN 13501-1 (Bfl-s1) and complies with Swiss RF3 fire safety requirements. It therefore meets stringent safety standards and is approved for professional use.
The sports flooring is easy to clean: simply wipe it with a damp cloth to keep it clean and hygienic.
Good to know: EPDM-based rubber is among the lowest-odor materials used for professional sports flooring. You may notice a slight new-rubber smell immediately after installation, but it will fade on its own over time and disappear completely with normal use.
Recommended installation pattern for sports flooring
Sports flooring is best laid in a staggered pattern. Cut every other edge tile in half with a utility knife and use the cut halves elsewhere without leaving gaps – so this pattern does not increase material consumption. It not only looks best but also provides maximum resistance to slipping, especially if the flooring is not glued down.
