So your knee does not get cold during heavy sets
By the third set of squats, the joint often feels stiff, and that is exactly when depth is lost. The sleeve keeps heat in the joint and applies even compression around it. You can get deeper and stand back up with more control, instead of bailing halfway.
7 mm is the compromise between support and mobility
Seven millimetres of neoprene provide significantly more support than the usual five. This is the choice for max weight when the sleeve really needs to help you drive out of the bottom. For workouts with lots of jumps, the 5 mm version offers more mobility.
Usage tips
Put the sleeve on so that the centre sits over the kneecap, not below it. When new, the sleeves fit very tightly; this is intentional and will ease after a few training sessions. Hang up to dry after training; never put them in the tumble dryer, otherwise the neoprene will lose its rebound.
Size chart
Use the chart to find your correct size. Measure the circumference of your calf at the widest point. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller one; the sleeve will stretch slightly as you wear it.| S | M | L | XL | |
