Alongside the plant-based protein, the formula contains various micronutrients that complement each other in a sensible way. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation, while zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails. Biotin supports the maintenance of normal skin and hair, and copper contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissue. Collagen Builder also contains hyaluronic acid and bamboo extract.
