Vitamin D3 is primarily obtained through direct sunlight, which is why an estimated 60% to 90% of us are deficient. Public Health England recommends that everyone over 1 year of age should consume at least 10μg of vitamin D daily, which is difficult to achieve through diet alone.

Why vitamin D3 instead of D2?

It is important to supplement with vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) and not D2. Vitamin D3 is the type of vitamin D that your body produces when exposed to sunlight, while vitamin D2 does not. Vitamin D2 can be easily obtained through diet, but it is almost impossible to meet the recommended daily requirement of vitamin D3 through diet alone.

Application: Take one capsule daily with or after a meal. Swallow the capsule with water. Do not chew.
