The full pulling distance in one rope
During a sled pull, you stand in your zone and pull the sled towards you hand over hand. The rope length determines how far away the sled can be at the start, meaning how long your pulling distance is per round. In fitness races such as Hyrox, this distance is 12.5 m, plus the 1.8 m-long zone (athlete box) on each side of the turf where you stand. With our 15 m Sled Rope, you pull this competition distance in one go. For a 10 m turf, we recommend the 12 m rope if you stand outside the turf while pulling, or the 9 m rope if you stand inside the turf while pulling.
38 mm grip thickness and markings every 3 m
The 38 mm diameter matches the standard for competition ropes. The rope fills your hand without making your fingers cramp. The yellow markings every 3 m help you pace yourself: you can see how much rope is still in front of you and divide your pulls evenly. For coaches, the markings are an easy way to set partial distances.
Clip in, pull, done
There is a hook at the end of the rope that lets you clip the Sled Rope directly into the rope mount on the Power Sled. The other end of the rope is sheathed to prevent the rope from unravelling. Together with the Fitness Turf, you have the complete sled station for your box, studio or home gym.
