Installation & gluing (indoor)
Some customers only roll out the turf when needed. This generally works, but the turf can then shift slightly or form light creases. We therefore recommend gluing it down.
- Subfloor for gluing: Ideally concrete. The subfloor must be clean, dry, dust-free and level. Gluing onto rubber mats is not recommended, as they can move under load and do not ensure permanent adhesion.
- Adhesive: Dispersion-based carpet adhesive for indoor use, suitable for textile flooring on mineral subfloors such as concrete. Available at low cost from DIY stores. Do not use assembly adhesive, PU adhesive (polyurethane) or contact adhesive.
- Application: Spread the adhesive evenly on the concrete with a coarse notched trowel, lay in the turf, align it neatly, press it down firmly and, if needed, weigh it down briefly, e.g. with sports flooring mats, so the turf lies evenly everywhere.
