Installation & Adhesive Application (Indoor)
Some customers only unroll the turf when needed. This generally works, but the turf may shift slightly or develop minor creases. That’s why we recommend gluing it down.
- Substrate for bonding: Ideally concrete. The substrate must be clean, dry, dust-free, and level. Bonding to rubber mats is not recommended, as they may shift under load and do not ensure a permanent bond.
- Adhesive: Water-based carpet adhesive for indoor use, suitable for textile floor coverings on mineral substrates such as concrete. Inexpensive and available at home improvement stores. Do not use installation adhesives, PU adhesives (polyurethane), or contact adhesives.
- Application: Spread the adhesive evenly over the concrete using a notched trowel, lay the turf, align it properly, press it down firmly, and, if necessary, weigh it down temporarily—for example, with sports floor mats—to ensure the turf lies flat and even across the entire surface.
