Edubily vegan Omega-3 oil as a plant-based source of important fatty acids

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential fatty acids and must be obtained through the diet. The vegan Omega-3 oil from the Edubily brand combines several plant-based sources of these fatty acids in a carefully designed formula. It contains flaxseed oil as a source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), algae oil as a plant-based source of the long-chain fatty acid DHA, as well as Ahiflower® oil from the plant Buglossoides arvensis. The stearidonic acid contained in Ahiflower® oil serves in the body as a precursor for the formation of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).
This combination creates a vegan Omega-3 oil with various Omega-3 fatty acids.

Ahiflower® oil and algae oil as a modern plant-based alternative to fish oil

Many Omega-3 products are based on fish oil, but plant-based sources can also provide these fatty acids. The vegan Omega-3 oil from the Edubily brand uses a blend of Ahiflower® oil, algae oil and flaxseed oil for this. This creates a purely plant-based alternative for anyone who wants to take in Omega-3 fatty acids without fish or fish oil.

Pleasant taste and tested quality

A common criticism of Omega-3 products is the taste. The vegan Omega-3 oil from the Edubily brand has therefore been given a natural flavouring that provides a mild lemon note. This keeps the taste pleasant and makes the oil easy to take every day.

The carefully selected raw materials come from verified sources and are analysed regularly. The formula is developed by Edubily's product developers and deliberately uses branded raw materials as well as clean formulations without unnecessary fillers or excipients.

Directions for use

Shake the bottle gently before use. One serving equals 5 ml of oil, or one teaspoon per day. The oil can be taken directly or stirred into prepared food and is ideally consumed with a meal. Store in the fridge after opening and use up promptly.

Frequently Asked Questions & Answers from Edubily

Why is Omega-3 essential?

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential because the body cannot produce them itself. Among other things, they support normal heart function as well as brain and vision function.

What Omega-3 fatty acids are there?

The most important Omega-3 fatty acids are alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). In addition to these three main forms, there are other Omega-3 fatty acids such as stearidonic acid (SDA) or docosapentaenoic acid (DPA), although they are mentioned less often.

How can I recognise an Omega-3 deficiency?

A possible deficiency can be clearly determined by measuring the Omega-3 Index in the blood. It should be above 8%.

What is the vegan Omega-3 oil made from?

The Omega-3 oil consists of plant-based oils from Buglossoides arvensis, the microalga Schizochytrium sp., and flaxseed.

What is the best way to take the Omega-3 oil?

We recommend taking it with a meal. The oil can be taken directly or stirred into a prepared food such as yoghurt or something similar.

Who is the vegan Omega-3 oil suitable for?

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential fatty acids that must be obtained through your diet. The vegan Omega-3 oil with Ahiflower® oil and algae oil therefore offers a plant-based alternative for anyone who wants to avoid fish or fish oil.

Is the product suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

In general, there is nothing against taking it during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If in doubt, we recommend consulting a doctor.
