The Ultraviolet in extra-narrow, shimmer instead of glitter

The Ultraviolet has a mother-of-pearl shimmer and shifts from rose through taupe to lilac depending on how the light hits it. No glitter, no print: just a smooth, color-shifting surface, plus black edging at the top and bottom, a black closure and black padded inner lining. On the narrow Petite belt, the color gradient runs over less height, and the embroidered kettlebell logo picks up the lilac tone. If you want color without it being loud, this is your belt.

The best weightlifting belt for functional fitness training and Olympic weightlifting

The “Petite” is the extra-narrow version of the 2POOD weightlifting belt, with a 7.6 cm width instead of the usual 10 cm. This gives you significantly more space between your rib cage and iliac crest, and you’ll feel less restricted during deep squats, cleans and snatches. The core stability stays the same.

Every 2POOD weightlifting belt is equipped with the WODclamp™, a quickly adjustable double-buckle system with a hook-and-loop closure. This makes the belt perfect for functional fitness training, because you can switch between strength, gymnastics and cardio exercises without taking the belt off.

For fast workouts, the metal buckle is enough, letting you loosen and close the belt with one hand in seconds. When it’s time for heavy weights, you also use the second buckle of the WODclamp™ and get a belt that is guaranteed not to open.

Move more weight with greater safety

Thanks to increased core stability, it’s easier to maintain correct posture when weightlifting. This reduces the risk of spinal injuries and helps you move more weight with clean technique.

The added stability can be exactly the difference that gets you to your next PR. But a weightlifting belt should never replace your focus on performing the exercise correctly.

The high-quality belts from 2POOD are known for their durability and will serve you faithfully for a long time. They support your technique during heavy strength training such as squats and deadlifts, as well as Olympic lifts like clean & jerks and snatches.

How to find the perfect size

Step 1:
Use a measuring tape to measure your waist around your belly button while holding your breath in.

Step 2:
Find your size here. Important: If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size.

  • XXXS: 65 - 70 cm
  • XXS: 70 - 75 cm
  • XS: 75 - 80 cm
  • S: 80 - 87.5 cm
  • M: 87.5 - 97.5 cm

The Petite belt is available up to size M. If you need L or XL, you can find these sizes in the regular 2POOD belts with a 10 cm width.

How to check the fit
When you have tightened your 2POOD weightlifting belt properly, the two ends of the belt should have a gap of about 2 to 5 cm, or at least not overlap.

Usage tips

The 85% rule

The most common recommendation for wearing a weightlifting belt is to use the belt once you are moving more than 85% of your max weight. However, some athletes like the support even at lighter weights so they can continue performing exercises cleanly when fatigue sets in during the workout.

How to wear your 2POOD weightlifting belt

One of the most common mistakes when using a weightlifting belt is wearing it too low. The belt should sit at about belly button height.

Care

The best care tip is to let your 2POOD weightlifting belt dry completely after every training session; then you’ll never need to wash it. If you do want to wash it, wash it by hand with cold water.
