The Blue Moon in extra-narrow, calm and clear

The Blue Moon comes in a light, calm ice blue, completely matte and without glitter. Black edging at the top and bottom, black lining and the blue embroidered kettlebell logo on a black patch create clean lines. If you want color but no sparkle, this is your belt.

The best weightlifting belt for functional fitness training and Olympic weightlifting

The “Petite” is the extra-narrow version of the 2POOD weightlifting belt, 7.6 cm wide instead of the usual 10 cm. This gives you significantly more room between your ribcage and iliac crest and restricts you less during deep squats, cleans and snatches. The stability for your core stays the same.

Every 2POOD weightlifting belt is equipped with the WODclamp™, a quick-adjust double-buckle system with hook-and-loop closure. This makes the belt perfect for functional fitness training, because you can switch between strength, gymnastics and cardio exercises without taking the belt off.

For fast workouts, the metal buckle is enough, letting you loosen and close the belt in seconds with one hand. When it is time for heavy weights, you also use the second buckle of the WODclamp™ and have a belt that is guaranteed not to come undone.

Move more weight with greater safety

Thanks to increased core stability, you can maintain the correct posture more easily when weightlifting. This reduces the risk of spinal injury and lets you move more weight with clean technique.

The added stability can make exactly the difference that gets you to your next PR. However, a weightlifting belt must never replace your focus on proper exercise technique.

The high-quality 2POOD belts are known for their durability and will serve you faithfully for a long time. They support your technique during heavy strength training such as squats and deadlifts, as well as Olympic lifts like clean & jerks and snatches.

Worn by the best athletes in the world

The 2POOD weightlifting belt is IWF-compliant and used by Olympic and professional fitness athletes. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, 2POOD is the first choice for weightlifting. 2POOD athletes include:

  • CJ Cummings
  • Jacob Heppner

How to find the perfect size

Step 1:
Use a measuring tape to measure your waist circumference at navel height with your breath held in.

Step 2:
Read off your size here. Important: If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size.

  • XXXS: 65 - 70 cm
  • XXS: 70 - 75 cm
  • XS: 75 - 80 cm
  • S: 80 - 87.5 cm
  • M: 87.5 - 97.5 cm

The Petite belt is available up to size M. If you need L or XL, you can find these sizes in the regular 2POOD belts with 10 cm width.

How to check the fit
When you have tightened your 2POOD weightlifting belt properly, the two ends of the belt should have a gap of about 2 to 5 cm, or at least not overlap.

Usage tips

The 85% rule

The most common recommendation for wearing a weightlifting belt is to use the belt once you are moving more than 85% of your max weight. However, some athletes like the support even at lighter weights so they can continue to perform the exercises cleanly when fatigue sets in during the workout.

How to wear your 2POOD weightlifting belt

One of the most common mistakes when using a weightlifting belt is wearing it too low. The belt should sit roughly at navel height.

Care

The best care tip is to let your 2POOD weightlifting belt dry completely after every training session, then you will never have to wash it. If you do want to wash it, wash it by hand with cold water.
