The best weightlifting belt for functional fitness training and Olympic weightlifting
Every 2POOD weightlifting belt comes with the WODclamp™ - a quick-adjust double-buckle system with a hook-and-loop closure that gives you maximum security.
The WODclamp™ makes the 2POOD perfect for functional fitness training because you can switch between strength, gymnastics and cardio exercises without taking off your belt.
For fast-paced workouts, you only need to use the metal buckle, allowing you to loosen and tighten the belt again in seconds with one quick movement.
When it's time to lift heavy, you can also use the second buckle of the WODclamp™. This gives you maximum security with a belt that's guaranteed not to come undone.
Lift more weight with greater safety
Thanks to increased core stability, the 2POOD makes it easier to maintain proper form when lifting weights.
This reduces the risk of spinal injury and lets you lift more weight with good form.
That extra stability can sometimes make all the difference in reaching your next PR.
But a weightlifting belt should never replace a focus on proper exercise technique.
The exceptionally well-made 2POOD weightlifting belts are known for their durability and will serve you well for a long time.
They support your technique during heavy strength training, such as squats and deadlifts, as well as Olympic lifts like clean & jerks and snatches.
Worn by the world's best athletes
The 2POOD weightlifting belt meets IWF regulations and is used by Olympic and professional fitness athletes. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, 2POOD is the first choice for weightlifting.
2POOD athletes include:
- Mattie Rogers
- CJ Cummings
- Jacob Heppner
- Amanda Barnhart
- Nick Urankar
- Chyna Cho
- Haley Adams
- Tasia Percevecz
- Sam Briggs
How to find the perfect size
Step 1:
Use a tape measure to measure around your abdomen at belly-button height while holding your breath in.
Step 2:
Find your size below. Important: If you're between sizes, choose the smaller size.
- XXXS: 65 - 70 cm
- XXS: 70 - 75 cm
- XS: 75 - 80 cm
- S: 80 - 87.5 cm
- M: 87.5 - 97.5 cm
- L: 97.5 - 108 cm
- XL: 108 - 118 cm
How to check the fit
When you've tightened your 2POOD weightlifting belt properly, there should be a gap of around 2 to 5 cm between the two ends of the belt, or at least they shouldn't overlap.
Tips for use
The 85% rule
The most common recommendation is to wear a weightlifting belt when you're lifting more than 85% of your maximum weight.
Some athletes, however, like the support even at lighter weights to help them maintain good form as they tire during a workout..
How to wear your 2POOD weightlifting belt
One of the most common mistakes when using a weightlifting belt is wearing it too low. The belt should sit at about belly-button height.

Care
The best care tip is to let your 2POOD weightlifting belt dry completely after every workout. That way, you'll never need to wash it.
If you do want to wash your weightlifting belt, hand-wash it in cold water.
