The best weightlifting belt for functional fitness training and Olympic weightlifting
Every 2POOD weightlifting belt features the WODclamp™ - a quick-adjusting double-buckle system with a hook-and-loop closure that gives you maximum security.
The WODclamp™ makes the 2POOD perfect for functional fitness training because you can switch between strength, gymnastics and cardio exercises without taking off the belt.
For fast-paced workouts, you only need to use the metal buckle, letting you loosen and tighten the belt again in seconds with one quick movement.
When it's time to lift heavy, you can also use the second buckle of the WODclamp™. This gives you maximum security with a belt that won't come undone.
Lift more weight with greater security
Thanks to greater core stability, the 2POOD makes it easier to maintain proper form when lifting weights.
This reduces the risk of spinal injury and lets you lift more weight with good form.
That extra stability can sometimes make all the difference in reaching your next PR.
But a weightlifting belt should never replace a focus on performing each exercise correctly.
The exceptionally well-made 2POOD weightlifting belts are known for their durability and will serve you well for a long time.
They support your form during heavy strength training, such as squats and deadlifts, as well as Olympic lifts like clean & jerks and snatches.
Worn by the world's best athletes
The 2POOD weightlifting belt is IWF-compliant and used by Olympic and professional fitness athletes. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, 2POOD is the first choice for weightlifting.
2POOD athletes include:
- Mattie Rogers
- CJ Cummings

How to find the perfect size
Step 1:
Use a tape measure to measure around your waist at belly-button height after exhaling.
Step 2:
Find your size below. Important: If you're between two sizes, choose the smaller size.
- XXXS: 65 - 70 cm
- XXS: 70 - 75 cm
- XS: 75 - 80 cm
- S: 80 - 87.5 cm
- M: 87.5 - 97.5 cm
- L: 97.5 - 108 cm
- XL: 108 - 118 cm
How to check the fit
When you've tightened your 2POOD weightlifting belt properly, there should be a gap of about 2 to 5 cm between the ends of the belt, or at least they shouldn't overlap.
Tips for use
The 85% rule
The most common recommendation for wearing a weightlifting belt is to use it when you're lifting more than 85% of your maximum.
Some athletes like the support even at lighter weights, though, so they can maintain good form as they get tired during a workout.
How to wear your 2POOD weightlifting belt
One of the most common mistakes when using a weightlifting belt is wearing it too low. The belt should sit at about belly-button height.

Care
The best care tip is to let your 2POOD weightlifting belt dry completely after every workout, so you won't need to wash it at all.
If you do want to wash your weightlifting belt, hand-wash it in cold water.
