Edubily's premium quality egg protein powder
Egg protein is one of the classic sources of dietary protein and can be used in many different ways. It contains all essential amino acids in a balanced ratio—including sulfur-containing amino acids such as methionine and cysteine.
The powder is made from cholesterol-free egg whites and can be used in shakes or for baking.
A look inside the egg - Protein fractions and amino acids:
Egg white contains various protein fractions, which together make up the total protein content. These fractions differ in structure and function. Among them is ovalbumin, which makes up the largest proportion with an average of 54%. This is followed by conalbumin (ovotransferrin) with 12%, ovomucoid with 11%, lysozyme and ovomucin with 3.5% each, and many other proteins. It also contains sulfur-containing amino acids such as methionine and cysteine.
Free-range eggs
The egg protein powder is based on egg whites from European free-range hens. The hens have regular access to the outdoors (free-range according to EU standards).
The main raw material of the product, egg powder, comes from Germany or neighboring countries.
From liquid egg white to powder
To produce the egg white protein powder, free-range egg whites are processed at moderate temperatures without any additives. The water is removed during this process, resulting in a virtually fat-free powder with a high protein content.
Wide range of applications
Edubily egg protein powder is super versatile. You can use it in shakes or in your favorite recipes. Yep, you can even use it for baking. The powder can be used instead of liquid egg whites in things like bread or desserts.
Frequently asked questions and answers from Edubily
What does the flavorless egg powder taste like?
The flavorless powder is simply dried egg white. Its taste is reminiscent of liquid egg white in a carton—neutral but authentic.
The powder tastes salty—is that normal?
Yes, the salty taste is completely normal. This is due to the natural salt content in egg whites. Since our egg protein does not contain any additives, the natural salt content is easily noticeable.
Can I use it to make egg whites?
Due to its composition, the powder is not suitable for the classic preparation of beaten egg whites. We have added some MCT powder to reduce its foaming ability and achieve a consistency suitable for shakes. It becomes fluffy, but remains stable and not too stiff.
