Installation & bonding (indoor)
Some customers only roll out the turf when needed. This generally works, but the turf may shift slightly or develop minor wrinkles. We therefore recommend bonding it down.
- Surface for bonding: Ideally concrete. The surface must be clean, dry, dust-free and level. Bonding to rubber mats is not recommended, as they can move under load and do not provide lasting adhesion.
- Adhesive: Dispersion-based carpet adhesive for indoor use, suitable for textile flooring on mineral substrates such as concrete. Available inexpensively from hardware stores. Do not use construction adhesive, PU adhesive (polyurethane) or contact adhesive.
- Application: Spread the adhesive evenly over the concrete with a coarse notched trowel, lay the turf, align it neatly, press it down firmly and, if needed, weigh it down briefly, e.g. with gym flooring mats, so the turf lies flat throughout.
