High-performance sports flooring with excellent shock absorption and sound dampening
Our sports flooring provides a non-slip, secure footing for cross-fitness training, weightlifting, and many other sports. It reliably absorbs shocks, noise, and vibrations, thereby protecting not only your equipment and joints but also your relationship with your neighbors.
The high-quality rubber material is designed for long-term use and is suitable for both professional gyms and high-performance home gyms.
Optional accessories: Connectors for sports flooring
Connectors are available as an option for our sports flooring. These allow multiple panels to be mechanically joined together, providing additional stability, especially for open training areas.
However, if the flooring is installed across the entire floor area up to all four walls, neither gluing nor joining is usually necessary. The flooring remains securely in place due to its own weight and the surrounding walls.
For professional use or high-traffic training areas, the flooring can also be glued down to ensure maximum adhesion. PU adhesives for rubber flooring, such as those available at home improvement stores, are suitable for sports flooring. Typical product names include 1K or 2K PU floor adhesives or PU installation adhesives for rubber and granulate flooring.
Alternatively, the Connectors are used when a permanent connection is desired, but the floor needs to remain removable or modular.
EPDM-based sports flooring: The ideal choice for durable fitness flooring
Our fitness flooring is made from high-quality EPDM rubber and stands out for its exceptional durability, dimensional stability, and resilience. Compared to conventional types of rubber, EPDM is particularly resistant to aging, low-odor, and free of volatile plasticizers or harmful substances that could be released over its service life.
EPDM is considered one of the highest-quality materials in the field of professional sports flooring and has proven itself over the years in high-traffic training environments. The flooring retains its properties even with intensive use, making it a reliable solution for gyms, CrossFit boxes, and commercial training areas.
In addition, the sports flooring meets the European fire safety classification EN 13501-1 (Bfl-s1) and complies with Swiss fire safety requirements RF3. It thus meets high safety standards and is approved for professional use.
The sports floor is easy to clean—simply wipe it down with a damp cloth to keep it clean and hygienic at all times.
Good to know: EPDM-based rubber is one of the lowest-odor materials available for professional sports flooring. Immediately after installation, you may notice a slight, new rubber odor, which will dissipate on its own over time and disappear completely with normal use.
Recommended installation method for sports flooring
Sports flooring is best installed in a staggered pattern. To do this, every other edge piece is cut in half with a utility knife, and the cut-off halves are reused seamlessly—so material consumption is not increased. This installation pattern not only ensures the best appearance but also maximizes the floor’s slip resistance, especially if it is not glued down.
