High-performance sports flooring with high shock absorption and noise reduction

Our sports flooring provides a non-slip, secure stance during cross-fitness training, weightlifting and many other sports. It reliably absorbs impacts, noise and vibrations, protecting not only your equipment and joints, but also your relationship with the neighbours.

The high-quality rubber material is designed for long-term use and is suitable for both professional gyms and demanding home gyms.

Optionally available: Connectors for sports flooring

Optional connectors are available for our sports flooring. These allow several tiles to be mechanically connected to each other, providing additional stability, especially for free-standing training areas.

However, if the flooring is laid across the full surface up to all four walls, neither gluing nor connecting is usually necessary. Thanks to its own weight and the surrounding walls, the flooring remains stable in position.

For professional use or heavily used training areas, the flooring can also be glued down to achieve maximum adhesion. PU adhesives for rubber flooring, as available in DIY stores, are suitable for the sports flooring. Typical names include 1K or 2K PU floor adhesive or PU assembly adhesive for rubber and granulate floors.

Alternatively, the connectors can be used if a firm connection is desired, but the flooring should still remain removable or modular.

EPDM-based sports flooring: The optimal choice for a durable gym floor

Our gym flooring is made with high-quality EPDM rubber and impresses with its exceptional durability, dimensional stability and resistance. Compared with conventional types of rubber, EPDM is particularly resistant to ageing, low-odour and free from volatile plasticisers or harmful substances that could be released over the period of use.

EPDM is considered one of the highest-quality materials in the field of professional sports flooring and has proven itself for years in high-traffic training environments. The flooring retains its properties even under intensive use, making it a reliable solution for gyms, cross-fitness boxes and commercial training areas.

In addition, the sports flooring meets the European fire protection classification EN 13501-1 (Bfl-s1) and complies with Swiss fire protection requirements RF3. This means it meets high safety requirements and is approved for professional use.

The sports flooring is easy to clean, as you can simply wipe it with a damp cloth, so it always stays clean and hygienic.

Good to know: EPDM-based rubber is one of the lowest-odour materials for professional sports flooring. Immediately after installation, a slight new rubber smell may be noticeable, which dissipates on its own over time and disappears completely with normal use.

Recommended installation technique for sports flooring

Sports flooring is best laid in a staggered pattern. Every second edge piece is cut in half with a utility knife, and the cut halves are reused seamlessly – so material consumption is not increased. This laying pattern not only provides the best look, but also maximum slip resistance for the flooring, especially if it is not glued down.
